The Lucifer Cannon is the most powerful human weapon in Tremulous. The fully-charged primary shot will destroy most alien structures with a single hit. The luci cannon is a great way to take out bases.

Tyrants can also be killed by one or two charged-up shots, making the luci cannon one of the few weapons they respect. However, as the shots move slowly, most experienced players dodge the shots. This makes it useful to shoot a stationary target between the target and you, as the splash damage cannot be avoided without retreating.

The luci cannon's secondary fire is surprisingly effective against floor-walking dretches, because of the large shot size and splash damage.

Due to the power of this weapon, the slow moving shots and splash damage, it can be very dangerous to teamates and players' own base structures. Extreme care and consideration should be taken when using this weapon around ones own base and teamates.

Continuous secondary fire is considered spamming and may not be allowed on some servers. You may be asked to stop or be kicked for continually spamming.
