Client Versions

"Vanilla" 1.1.0 client

Required files: tremulous, base/vms-1.1.0.pk3, base/data-1.1.0.pk3, maps

This is the standard client which comes in the game package. It is not recommended to use it though because it contains security vulnerabilities and lacks certain useful features.

TJW's backport client executable

Replaced files: tremulous

This client executable is based on Vanilla executable and includes several new features and security fixes.

New features:

WWW download redirection support - requires external cURL library installed and that you “cl_allowdownload 1” and “cl_wwwdownload 1”
Player GUID - required for use of most admin system features.
Uses user directory in Documents and Settings to save configuration, demos, screenshots and downloaded files on Windows
Bug fixes

SVN client

Replaced files: tremulous
Required files: base/vm/ui.qvm, base/vm/cgame.qvm, base/vm/game.qvm (for playing on localhost)

This client is only for developers right now. It is incompatible with Vanilla QVM files so it cannot be used to play on Vanilla compatible servers.
